Supervisory Staff

Selecting, training, and managing the park staff are critical steps toward operating a well-supervised, safe skate park.

We check the backgrounds of our candidates and carefully screen them for their abilities to relate to and communicate well with people who use the park. They must be able to gain the respect of the kids and enforce the rules without being intimidated or developing adversarial relationships.

Our supervisory personnel are trained in park policies and procedures as well as local health and safety requirements like first aid and CPR.

We also hold seminars with our staffs on conflict resolution and relationship skills for dealing with children and teenagers because we believe this is critical for effective park management.
If they will have any instructional duties, such as conducting classes, clinics, or private lessons, staff members must be familiar with the curriculums and be trained to administer them.

Have you considered contacting the city of Chino regarding their skate park located at Ayala Park? They have an awesome skate park that is always crowded with bikers, scooters and rollerbladers. There are signs posted that no bikes are allowed in the park and the police have to come out to monitor the park. I know several people who have stopped skating there because of the bikers, etc. I know a lot of people who would pay to skate there if it was run similar to your facilities in Fontana. Just a suggestion 
